Over the last month my host has made some rather major upgrades to their networking infrastructure in their facility which has in turn given back much better download speeds on the website.

In the past download speeds on RFV were pretty much around 100kbps or less. Most of the time downloads would start around 200-300kbps and trickle down to 100kbps or below and stay there on large downloads. Now however downloads pretty much stay between 700-900kpbs without much fluctuation at all so this should make the downloading experience better for everyone who still uses the site.

These speeds however are based on the three internet connections I have access to; 15000\2500 Cable, 8000\764 DSL and 3000\512 DSL and your speed may vary based on your internet connection & location.

I was pegged at 240kbps throughout the whole download... which is the max I get.
