First of all thanks for visiting the Red Faction View Forum and taking the time to look over the rules.

Following a few simple rules listed below will make this a better place for everyone and will help keep some general order in the fourm

The IPB warning system is in use on the forum. You can recieve up to 5 warnings and then you will be permanently banned from the forum. You may receive a warning for not following the rules below or if you do other actions that shouldn't be done. If you receive a warning you will be contacted by Private Message with more information. You can check your warning status at any time by clicking on your username anywhere on the forum to view your own profile and then clicking on your "warn percentage" next to the Warn Level. You can also click on your "warn percentage" on any post that you have made on the forum.

Remember that this is a forum for everyone of all ages young and old. Even if you think it is ok to use the language, it isn't on here so keep the language clean.

Replying to a topic with just a smiley face or two or three words in a post usually does not serve a purpose and is considered spam. If you want to spam then please use the General Discussion forum and don't clutter up normal topics.

When replying to topics don't reply with your own problem or thoughts about something totally different in hopes of getting replies on your post. Make sure that what you are replying with actually goes along with what the topic is about and not something else totally different.

Every topic and reply has a date. If what you are reading has not been replied in for a while then don't reply in it yourself unless it is really necessary. This especially important for new members that feel the need to post in every topic just to "catch up" and get their word in no matter how old the topic is.

When you are starting a new topic, take a look at where you are at in the fourm and see if the topic fits into the category. There are specific categories with specific forums for different things and you should post your topic in the fourm that fits your topic.

Images can be posted as long as they are not explicit or offensive. If you plan to post multiple images in a reply, please just post links to the images rather than displaying them. Larger images should always be linked rather then displayed so that it does not increase the width of the forum causing horizontal scrolling in the browser.

Signatures may contain images, but the images should be no larger than 500 pixels wide and 150 pixels high. Signatures should not contain any foul language, or any links to warez, porn or other inappropriate websites.
